Caution on Katy Trail today near McKittrick

Recent brush cuttings have left a lot of thorns on the bike path 1 mile east of McKittrick.  Many flat tires today.

Wisconsin Bike Tours Availability

Our Wisconsin Bike Tour season runs through September 30.  We have a few open dates between September 15 and 30.   Please contact us it you interested in one of our tours this year

Katy Trail Tour Availability

Our Katy Trail bike tour season runs through October 31. Fall is our most popular season and many available dates are filling up.  We do have available dates but if you are planning to bike with us yet this season you should try to confirm with us soon.

• We are now booking generally for tours: Sept 24 - Oct 31 with a few open dates remaining.

PEI Tour Dates

We have only a few remaining tour dates available for 2012.  Our season ends September 30.

Some availability remains for START DATES of:

SEPTEMBER 20, 21, 22, 23 or 24 for the following tours 

#20 (7 day), #22 (6 day) or #23 (5 day) bike tours.

Bridge Replacement - Portland

MM 115.9 Portland TH  has a temporary detour for trail users through late August to complete bridge construction.  Detour signs are posted.

MM 42.1 (west of the St. Charles TH at 39.5) has a temporary detour through October 2012.

Rough spots - may occur along the trail due to storms or dry conditions from drought.

PEI July Tour Dates

We are having a busy booking season for all of our bike tours

As of today - we have NO OPEN TOUR START DATES for the following:

• PEI tours Today through July 24, 2012
• PEI August 2 - 24
• Katy Trail August 2 - 24
• Wisconsin bike tours August 2 - 24, 2012

Other dates have varied availability.  We have good availability on the Katy Trail in October and the first and last weeks of September.  Mid-September has little to no availability.  

Contact us with your preferred dates to see if we can accommodate your requested tour.

If you are forming a group (more than 4 persons) to cycle in September or October 2012 please contact us soon to be sure we have the room for your group.

• Statewide Open Fire Burn Ban is in place
• Temporary Detour at MM 41.1 on Katy Trail - very short, well marked

No other detours reported.

A: Yes, all tour include emergency pickup

A: Average high temperatures on PEI in July are about 70F or 21C
